Analysis of the Relation between Arc Power and Radiated Electromagnetic Noise

(in English) We hypothesize that when arc power is low, arc current fluctuates sharply, generating great radiated electromagnetic noise. To verify our hypothesis, in this paper, we analyze the correlation between arc power and high frequency current, and the correlation between arc power and high frequency radiated electromagnetic noise. As a result, the lower arc power is, the greater high frequency current magnitude is, and the greater radiated electromagnetic noise generated. Consequently, we can say that our hypothesis is proper.
