Lack of GPS propagation data for Sarawak and Kano to evaluate satellite signal performance necessitate the study by making comparison of the two different environments. L-band satellite monitoring station was developed consisting of the hardware and software components that are integrated into methodology. A software module called ?Self-package Adaptive Graphical User Interface (SPAGUI)? was developed. This paper presented the analysis of the signal-to-noise (SNR) performance under different MS environments with respect to the elevation and azimuth degree at different time under a clear sky condition. The results obtained for Kota Samarahan, Sarawak and Kano were characterized by comparison of SNR for Sarawak and Kano environment. |
