Developing an Application Virtual Sharing Dongle for Supporting Collaborative Works

(in English) In a cooperative work such as a group work and a conference, it is important for participants to share the same information. In particular, an application sharing system is useful because a user can share only necessary screen information with others. In the case, Reducing the operations and time required to start information sharing for a cooperative work can expect smooth operations. We have developed a smooth and effective interface for supporting a smooth cooperative work using an Application Virtual Sharing Dongle. The time required to start the information sharing was 2,000 ms at the maximum. We show how the system can be used practically and effectively for supporting cooperative works.
