Spatial sound morphing by using a miniature head simulator array

(in English) It has been reported that the miniature head simulator system can capture spatial sounds. A single miniature head simulator system, however, can capture the spatial sound only at the single observation point. To allow the listener to change the listening point during the reproduction of the sounds, an array of the miniature head simulators was proposed. To examine localization of the sounds captured by the miniature head simulator array, a psychoacoustic experiment was conducted. The result indicated that the miniature head simulator array could be used for the spatial sound morphing.
