In this paper, we develop a close range 3D modeling system with 4 RGB-D sensors.When we set the sensors on all sides and calibrate them, we tend to fail extrinsic-calibration processes between sensors because their poses are too different to calibrate. In our system, we focus Iterative Closest Point (ICP) for extrinsic-calibration. In the experiment, we compare the conventional calibration method using chess board with proposed method. Also we verify qualities of 3D modeling using them, and demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
