屋内における視覚障碍者の歩行案内の精度向上を目的に,BLEビーコンの動的制御による音声案内の可能性を検討する.基本的には,スマートフォン等の受信端末で電界強度を計測し,BLE発信機と受信端末までの距離を推定することで音声案内を行う.しかし,BLEの電波は環境中での反射や散乱などの影響を大きく受けるため,電界強度が不安定となり,音声案内の誤差要因となる.そこで,本報告ではBLEビーコン弁別性能向上を目的に,BLEビーコンの動的制御を検討する.実験では,BLEビーコンの時間的な制御と順次タイミング移動による音声誘導の動作実験を行い,電界強度の計測を行った.音声誘導の動作実験では,発信ビーコンの順次切り替えによって,音声案内のタイミングが改善されることを確認した.今後は,時刻同期型ビーコン制御を検討予定である |

This paper describes a method of dynamically controlling BLE beacons, and an indoor BLE beacon-based guidance system that holds the promise of truly-accurate geographical positioning. RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) is the means by which mobile phones estimate distances to all beacons within range. Some degree of positioning error occurs naturally, however, as the result of microwave reflection and scattering. So we propose a method of dynamically controlling BLE beacons’ transmission intervals, for the purpose of improving BLE-beacon identification. In experiments assisted by a volunteer “pedestrian”, we confirmed both the scheduled time control of the BLE beacons and the speech-guidance assisted by the sequentially-switched BLE beacons. In an upcoming work, we will use NTPs (network time protocols) for each BLE beacon’s time control. |
