We have studied a broadband mode multi/demultiplexer using Mach-Zehnder interferometer for combined use of the MDM and WDM. So far, we have theoretically analyzed the transmission spectra and the relationship between FSR and the length of delay line of the Mach-Zehnder interferometer together with the proposal of 3dB mode divider. Here, we fabricate the proposed device in CMOS platform and measure the transmission spectra of the device. |
