電話回線におけるコーデックが通話音声による健康状態推定に及ぼす影響

多くの先進国ではメンタルヘルス不調が問題となっており，様々な対策やスクリーニング技術が検討されてきた．我々は，音声から抑うつ状態やストレス状態などの健康状態を推定する研究を進めてきた．音声を用いた分析は，非侵襲であり，特殊な専用装置を必要とせず，レポーティングバイアスが無く，手軽にかつ遠隔的に行えるという特長がある．本研究の目的は，電話回線における符号化が音声による健康状態の推定に及ぼす影響を検証することである．実験では，877名の定型文を読み上げた音声を用意した．次に，携帯電話やインターネット電話などに広く使用されている音源符号化方式に基づく音声コーデックであるG.723.1およびG.729による符号化を音声に適用した．そして，その符号化前後における音声を解析して得られた健康度の推定結果を比較した．その結果，符号化後の健康度は符号化前の健康度と高い相関があり，電話回線において音声コーデックが適用された通話音声による健康状態推定が可能であることが示された． |

Mental health problems are a problem in many advanced countries, and various countermeasures and screening techniques have been studied. We are conducting research to estimate health condition such as depression state and stress state from voice, and analysis using voice is non-invasive, does not require any special dedicated device, has no reporting bias, is easy and can be performed remotely. The purpose of this research is to verify the influence by codecs on the telephone line on the estimation of the health state by voice. In the experiment, we prepared 877 subjects voices reading 17 fixed phrases. Next, coding based on G.723.1 and G.729, which was applied to speech. Then, the estimation results of the health degree obtained by analyzing the speech before and after the encoding were compared. As a result, it was shown that health condition after coding is highly correlated with health before encoding, and it is useful to estimate health condition by speech voice coding method. |
