Motion Analysis Method to Estimate Comprehension of Conversation from Body Movement Synchrony during Communication

(in English) If we can estimate comprehension of conversation from body movement synchrony in the same period of communication, we can improve communication in real time. In this study, we suggested a method of analyzing body movement synchrony and applied this method to real talks. To differ a rate of comprehension of conversation between participants, we designed 4 roles for participants and measured their body movement by Motion Capture System during this conversation. Our preliminary results suggested that the comprehension of conversation may be estimated by body movement synchrony analyzed our methods during communication.
