Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A satellite communication system excellent in disaster tolerance is utilized as a means of communication to affected areas. In recent years, since more precise disaster response is required, it is necessary to increase the capacity of the satellite communication system. Also, in order to satisfy the needs for broadband in the ocean and airspace, the capacity of the satellite communication system is expected to increase. Therefore, satellites called high-throughput satellites enabling high-capacity communication have appeared. However, although the communication capacity of high-throughput satellites has increased, there is a big problem that the utilization of communication resources is not flexible and the frequency utilization efficiency is low. Therefore, the next-generation high-throughput satellite is required to be a system with excellent capacity and flexibility. At present, there is no evaluation method that can quantitatively evaluate the flexibility of the satellite communication system, and it is obstructing improvement of the flexibility of the satellite communication system. Therefore, in this research, in order to realize improvement of the flexibility of the satellite communication system, we aim to establish the flexibility evaluation method. In this paper, we describe the outline and research plan of the system analysis model that can evaluate the flexibility of the satellite communication system.
