Pacemaker troubleshooting is discussed in case studies or review articles. However, clinical decision support system (CDSS) has not been available. Troubleshooting skill depends on personal memory, knowledge, and experience, and it has not been well systemization. As the result, it is possible to have unnecessary intervention for root cause evaluation or for pseudo-malfunctioning behavior. To create CDSS, it should reveal the process of thinking and relationship of each parameter. To understand the process of expert’s thinking, we evaluate how experts use important pacemaker parameters such as settings, electrocardiograms, lead measurements and others information to determine the root cause of trouble from electrocardiogram.. |
