The authors have worked on extension of the estimation formula of the Helmholtz-Kohlrausch (HK) effect in a single color image devised by Nayatani et al. into a natural image. Estimation formula devised by Nayatani et al. is based on a subjective evaluation experiment by adjustment method for single color image. Therefore, in order to verify the effectiveness of the estimation formula of HK effect in natural images, the authors performed a subjective evaluation experiment with adjustment method for natural image and compared the experiment value with the estimated value. In addition, we compared the experimental values of the subjective evaluation experiment by stimulus-comparison method with the experimental values of the adjustment method and report it. |
