(in English) Up to now, a dedicated communication device has been used for data transmission of a train control system. However, due to a decrease in communication cost of general-purpose products and an increase of demand in communication demand for applications such as on-train condition monitoring, sharing of a communication device between a non-safety related system and a train control system is expected in the future. This paper describes the requirements for securing the train control system safety in the case of sharing the communication device.
