As a countermeasure against eavesdropping in mobile communications, secret information transmission scheme using signal decomposition and spatial vector composition based on radio propagation characteristics has been proposed, but resistance to eavesdropping attack by multiple antennas has not been evaluated. Therefore, in this paper, we discuss the attacking method using multiple antennas and propose its countermeasures. Under the conditions that the system parameters of the legitimate station are known at the eavesdropping station, it shows that the desired signal can be reproduced by composing the signals separated by the independent component analysis with a certain weight, and we consider the design method of the weight. Furthermore, as a countermeasure against the assumed attack method, we propose a method of signal decomposition after adding periodic pseudo noise and show that we can improve eavesdropping resistance. |
