[Poster Presentation] Model for viscosity estimation from acoustic emission spectra of single bubble oscillation
Yuto Hatanaka, Takanobu Kuroyama (NIT, Gifu College) US2017-96
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A viscosity estimation model from the acoustic emission of single bubble system is constructed. The relationship between acoustic emission spectrum of an oscillational bubble and conditions of single bubble system is analyzed by numerical simulation. It is found that the existence of the appropriate pressure amplitude of incident ultrasound to estimate the viscosity based on the acoustic emission spectrum. The viscosity estimation model from the acoustic emission spectrum with the appropriate incident pressure amplitude employing support vector regression is constructed and verified. As a result, we show that viscosity estimation from acoustic cavitation spectra is possible when viscosity is in the range of 1 - 20 (mPas).
