Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper considers the usefulness of PSO (particle swarm optimization) in MPPT (maximum power point tracking) control. As a result, when the illumination change occurred the output became unstable compared with the hill climbing method which is the main method at present. In this paper, we propose a method combining PSO and hill climbing method to deal with this problem. As a result, the proposed method followed maximum power faster than PSO.
