In this paper, we propose a MU-MIMO cooperative retransmission control scheme to achieve high reliability and high transmission efficiency. Conventionally, cooperative transmission in which the multiple radio stations cooperate to improve transmission efficiency has been studied. Relay transmission included in cooperative transmission has the issue of reducing throughput although robust communication is performed even if the radio environment fluctuates. Meanwhile, as high transmission rate technology, MU-MIMO (Multiuser MIMO) technology that the space division multiplex by multiple users is adopted in IMT-Advanced and IEEE 802. 11 ac standard.
In the proposed scheme of this study, relay stations located in the surroundings perform cooperative retransmission control using MU-MIMO transmission at retransmission. The effect of the proposed scheme was confirmed by computer simulation. As a result, compared to the conventional retransmission control technique, the throughput was improved 50 %. |
