[Invited Lecture] Development of a New Design System for a Low Profile Antenna Including Matching Circuit

(in English) Various types of the antenna must be designed efficiently to accelerate the spread of Internet of Things (IoT). A new design system for a low profile inverted L antenna and monopole antenna including a matching circuit is developed to design IoT terminal antennas. The antenna element and the ground plane are printed or placed on the dielectric substrate. By using this system, the length of the antenna element and the circuit element values can be optimized so as to maximize the bandwidth. The number of optimization trials is less than ten. This is quite low compared to other optimization methods such as the machine learning. The optimization method and the example are reported.
