Analysis of Relationships and Networks of Data in the Market of Data -- Discussion on Attributes and Connections of Data --

(in English) In the worldwide trend of big data and Artificial Intelligence, expectations for improving existing businesses or creating new businesses by combining data from different domains have been increasing. However, in order to realize cross-disciplinary data exchange and data driven innovation, it is necessary to understand the structures and relationships of data in the world. In other words, it is important not to analyze individual data in detail, but to investigate the structural features of a population of data. Data Jacket (DJ) is a description framework of a summary of data, which improves the human readability of data. In this paper, assuming that DJs are the specimens of the data in the market, we analyze the attributes of data described in DJs. We discuss the results from the viewpoints of data types, storage formats, sharing policies, and variable labels. Also, we examine what kind of data in the market may contribute to cross-disciplinary data exchange and data driven innovation using network analysis.
