Realizing Culturally Situated Dialogue Agent

(in English) Nowadays, Development of interactive agents is processing. However, it is not easy to realize an interactive agent which is suitable for cross-cultural communication. First, we propose a framework for the multilingual interactive agent that can support dialogues with end users through Wizard of Oz and language services. We then propose the approach of gradual acquisition of multilingual dialogues to improve the performance of the interactive agent. Next, Machine Translation does not translate culturally situated information correctly. In order to overcome the problem, we propose how to let the user understand a concept with another concept which is similar to the concept and in the user's culture.
