Batteryless Body Sensor Networks by Using a NFC-enabled Host Device and a Wearable 2D-communication Sheet

(in English) This paper proposes a battery-less body sensor networks (BSNs) scheme which supply a power scavenged the NFC radio of smartphone to the sensor nodes distributed on a special cloth embroidered with conductive threads. The sensor nodes and host device are connected by using a special connector consisting of a pin and a socket without one-to-one wiring. While the conductive embodied cloth can eliminate the battery of sensor node, host device still needs the battery for the sensor nodes. Batteryless BSNs system uses the NFC radio as the power source. The experimental results demonstrate the feasibility of the batteryless BSNs system in those case.
