Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In recent years, there is a very serious issue of the information leak by stolen and lost PC. As one of the information securities, many companies consider shifting from the physical environment saving data in laptop devices to the virtual environment using thin client devices and saving data in online storage on public clouds. However, when using virtual desktops from thin clients, a huge delay between user operation and screen drawing is caused by inside overheads of the input process, the output process, image process, and so on. Now, in this paper, we propose speed up screen drawing by applying ScreenCast as a screen transfer protocol using H.264. Furthermore, we evaluate the effectiveness of proposed method in different hypervisors and round trip time.
