Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Full-duplex relaying in wireless communication is an approach to improving the spectral efficiency, utilizing the same time and frequency resources for transmission and reception at the relay node. This paper presents a scheme that the authors have proposed, suppressing residual self-interference in the analog-circuit domain on full-duplex relay systems. The proposed scheme measures multiple responses of the feedback path by changing the direction of the main beam of the transmitter at the relay, and then selects the optimal direction that minimizes the residual self-interference. Computer simulations show the proposed scheme improves the performance compared with the conventional scheme.
