Generation and Selection of Solution Candidates for Accurate OD Traffic Matrix Estimation Based on Resampling of Observed Flow Data

(in English) It is important to understand the precise characteristics of individual flow, which is defined as series of packets between networks (or sets of networks), for the management and operation of the Internet. However, since the Internet is diverse and large scale system with distributed authority, it is not practical and sometime impossible to directly measure the precise characteristics of individual flow. In this paper, we propose a method to estimate statistical characteristics of individual flow based on aggregated-flow measurements. In the proposed method, we propose a method to improve estimation accuracy by using resampled measurement data. The proposed method select a solution from a set of solution candidates which are obtained from resampled measurement data.
