A Low Latency Multihop Wireless Communication using an Interference Cancellation for NLOS Environment

(in English) An optical wireless communication has low radiation noise characteristics. In the intra-spacecraft environment with a lot of obstacles, the optical repeater improves the communication coverage. However, the repeaters increase the transmission latency. This paper proposes a low latency multihop wireless communication method. The proposed method can receive and repeat the signal simultaneously by using the preamble sequences which the position and the pattern are modified when it is repeated. We evaluate the communication coverage and the bit-error rate (BER) of the proposed method. The simulation result shows that the BER of the proposed method is less than 10^-5 with 80% coverage, and the proposed method has a low latency performance under the intra-spacecraft environment in contrast to the Store-and-Forward method.
