In the meshless method, the computational domain is discretized by nodes, and flexible shapes can be expressed by the nodes. The meshless method is based on the explicit method. Thus, the numerical stability condition is satisfied when this method is used. In the case of analyzing the fine structure, the meshless method is required huge computing resources. Therefore, the fast analysis method is strongly demanded. In this paper, the stabilized meshless method is proposed for the fast electromagnetic simulation which can be used an arbitrary time step size. The stabilized explicit method removes unstable modes using eigenvalue decomposition. As a result, it is possible to perform stable analysis using an arbitrary time step size. Moreover, in order to reduce the computational cost for eigenvalue decomposition, the scale of the eigenvalue problem is reduced by using model order reduction. In this work, the stabilized explicit method is applied the meshless method, and verify its effectiveness. |
