Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In general, the economic structure of advanced countries shifts from manufacturing based to the service based; for instance, a market size of service industries covers 80% of GDP in USA, and 75% in Japan. By contrast, labor productivity of the service industries is lower compared to the manufacturing industries. Therefore, the advanced countries face dilemma; service economy causes low productivity. Thus, it is pressing issue for the advanced countries to enhance the labor productivity. Labor-intensive service industries, a typical service industry, produce service contents by human; therefore improving the work efficiency is important way to enhance the labor productivity. It is difficult to record the indoor human positioning using GPS although many labor-intensive service industries provide the service indoor. As a consequent, indoor positioning sensing technology will improve productivity of such kind of the business category. This paper gives an outline of improving the activities using indoor positioning sensing system by restaurant industry; the typical labor-intensive service industry.
