Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper presents an analog measurement security technique for sensor systems. A sensor analog circuit is indispensable for physical-cyber interface because it converts from physical information to digital data. Since analog circuit processes raw data before encryption in digital circuit, a serious system error would occur when the data is stolen or tampered by attackers. Thus, analog security technique is required to ensure the data protection on analog circuit. In this work, analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) is focused and a side-channel attack on the ADCs is evaluated. Furthermore, its countermeasure technique is proposed and the protection effects are demonstrated by using prototype chip.
