We propose and demonstrate a cryogenic signal processor based on a single-flux-quantum (SFQ) circuit for a fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) system with higher frequency-operation using a superconducting nanowire single photon detector (SSPD). An FCS system using an SSPD array with high-frequency operation requires a cryogenic multiplexer. We obtained a discontinuous auto correlation curve using an SSPD array with a simpler multiplexer, which is caused by a temporal change of the system detection efficiency due to the deadtime of the SSPDs. In this paper, we propose a new signal processor for the FCS system with higher-frequency operation, which is a multiplexer with a function of removing the temporal system detection efficiency. We evaluated the auto correlation of output signals from SFQ signal processor combined with 3-pixel SSPDs. As a result, we obtained a continuous auto correlation function successfully. |
