Nonlinear dynamics of combustion instability in a gas turbine model combustor

(in English) We have experimentally studied the dynamical behavior of thermoacoustic combustion oscillations in a laboratory-scale gas turbine model combustor from a viewpoint of Fractal geometry and complex-network theory. Fractal dimension and flame front network enables us to quantity the randomness of flame front shape. The degree distributions of the network structure during thermoacoustic combustion oscillations is useful for capturing the effect of bulk flow velocity on the increase in the randomness.
