(in English) At present, proposed quantitative diagnosis method of human edema quantitatively has problems such as time is taken for measurement. Therefore we focused on a quantitative diagnosis method using ultrasonic waves which can measure instantaneously and have excellent detection ability of soft tissue. In order to reproduce edema, the agar phantoms with different concentrations of moisture was prepared. An ultrasonic pulse was irradiated on the agar phantoms, and the reflected wave was observed. Sound velocity was obtained from the waveform, and the measurement results were compared and examined. We also confirmed the boundary surface and fault plane of the agar phantoms and water using ultrasonic diagnostic imaging equipment.
