| (in English) | Patients’ with physical impairments, such as paraplegics’ with loss of lower extremities capabilities, need rehabilitation to regain partial or full functionality of the limbs, and to reduce the risk of future health issues. The problem for the patient’s is the lack of motivation, as the exercises become tedious and repetitive. Secondly, adjusting the suitability of the exercises based on the user’s health data is often done periodically when the patient visits the rehabilitation centre. Our goal is to improve the treatment and data tracking processes of physicians and doctors. And in turn, improve the patients’ motivation and overall health with assistive technology, virtual reality environments and customised exercises. | |
