A Study on Bandwidth Allocation Scheme for LPWA

(in English) As popularizing IoT, various LPWAs' specifications have been provided. Authors have focused on LoRaWAN which is feasible to transmit long distance, e.g., several kilo meters, with low power consumption. In LoRaWAN, because ALOHA is adopted as MAC protocol, the number of communication collision increases in case of a number of nodes. Therefore, it is necessary to perform a back-off operation, and then it increases power consumption. Authors propose the sleep-controllable and collision-less bandwidth allocation scheme provided by coordination of each node and scheduling by the gateway.
