Performance evaluation of communication using MQTT over Layer 2 Network

(in English) As the Internet of things (IoT)grown, it is expected that a number of devices connected in network will be increased. Currently, Internet based on IP is mostly applied to most of communication. However, communication by IP requires physical location of connecting devices. If IoT communication on the current Internet is often invoked, it seems to not efficient, because a number of connection establishment and release on communication is performed. Therefore, IoT requires a concept of communication system referred to as information centric network (ICN). However, it is difficult to switch to ICN suddenly from the IP communication network. We think Co-operation between ICN and legacy communication protocols is necessary. Therefore, we propose communication using MQTT over layer 2 network and evaluate its performance.
