(in English) Mobile edge computing is expected to be an architecture that reduces
terminal load and application delay by placing computing resources at
base stations. Meanwhile, the improvement of the terminal performance
and the optimization of the application are remarkable, and it
becomes possible to execute applications requiring high load and low
delay locally, so that delay and load reduction for mobile edge
computing are not necessarily great advantages for the user There is
also the likelihood that it will not always be. We have already dealt
with delays and load requirements for applications that are expected
to benefit from MEC's low latency and low load, furthermore, as
merits of MEC other than low delay low load, data diversity,
application scalability , An intent-driven network, and offloading
network functions. In this research, complementing the recent update
in the organized requirement and the proposed merit, based on the
current status of terminal performance improvement and application
optimization, the problems and merits of Mobile Edge Computing that could not be drawn
in the previous survey.
