| (in English) | In this paper, we propose aggregate-compression-aided subcarrier in-phase/quadrature phase index modulation (AC-SIQIM). In the proposed system, signals conveying independent information bits via the in-phase and quadrature-phase signals of subcarrier index modulation (SIM) in whole sub-blocks are compressed by a large linear matrix at once. Conventional compressed-sensing aided SIM (CS-SIM) compresses signals subblock by subblock so that the size of the linear matrix for compression should be small because of limitation of complexity. Our proposal can relax this limitation and thus is demodulated by discreteness-aware approximate message passing (DAMP) providing the superior reconstruction performance. Moreover, we propose two different linear matrices based on random matrix theory and frame theory for compression, and computer simulations reveal their performances. | |
