Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) As a noncontact heart rate (HR) measurement, a Doppler radar has been used. However, the output signal of the Doppler radar contains the fundamental component and its harmonics caused by respiration. In addition, a NDP (Null Detection Point) problem occurs because the HR measurement uses In-phase and Quadrature-phase signals divided. In order to solve the problems, the proposed method introduces the adaptive notch filter (ANF) for reducing the respiration components, and complex signal demodulation (CSD) against the NDP problem.
