All-in-one prototype of non-contact ultrasound thickness gauge

(in English) It is important to check the steel-thickness of the coastal structure, such as the steel-pile quay wall and the pipe-pile pier. In conventional measurement, the shells which are on the steel are interfere to the measurement, and are removed before measurement. We try to measure the steel thickness without removing the shells. All-in-one measuring device was developed, and several times of field measurements were carried out using it. In this report based on the field measurement, the device are reviewed about signal level and device property, and improvement of the usability.
