MIMO technology using multiple antennas for high speed communication has a problem of mutual coupling between antennas. If distance between antennas is far enough, the influence of mutual coupling is not needed to consider. However, in case of small wireless terminal such as smartphone or mobile hotspot, multiple antennas are put closely. Then strong mutual coupling occurs, and it causes decreasing of communication capacity.
Besides, CA which uses multiple frequencies is widely used for increasing communication speed. Simultaneous frequencies in CA is not only two, but also three, four, and more. We proposed dual-band decoupling method, nevertheless, increasing the number of frequencies is required. Therefore, we propose the triple-band decoupling method by using a short stub and trifurcation branch elements. |
