Operation Characteristics of Input-Series-Output-Parallel LLC Resonant DC-DC Converter based on Interleaved Principle and Its Experimental Evaluations

(in English) An Input-series-output-parallel (ISOP) switching power converter topology is suitable for electric power processing architecture with high voltage dc source in a wide variety of fields such as industry, automotive information and communication technology, renewable and sustainable energy generations. This paper presents a new prototype of two-phase interleaved {it LLC} resonant dc-dc converter with ISOP topology, featuring high efficiency and low switching noise performances as well as low ripple at the output dc stage. The theoretical analysis is described for demonstrating the low ripple performance in an ISOP stricture, after which the practical effectiveness of the proposed converter is revealed in experiment of the breadboard prototype.
