In order to supply power to an active DC load such as motor and rechargeable battery by wireless power transfer,
we proposed a novel RF rectifier.
In this report, we prototype the proposed circuit for experimental verification.
First, we design the circuit's parameters.
Next we adjust them to cancel the parasitic capacitance of actual diodes.
Then we fabricate the proposed circuit.
Finally, we measure the circuit's RF input resistance and RF-DC conversion efficiency as functions of the DC load resistance.
The proposed circuit will help to make MHz-WPT systems simple and robust because we no longer need complicated devices such as adaptive DC-to-DC converters. |
