Evaluation of shared sound field synthesis using spherical microphone array recoding

(in English) Conventional sound field synthesis methods may require a large system because of synthesizing a huge control region to encompass multiple listeners. To overcome this, we proposed the shared sound field synthesis methods that are adapted it to reduce control region, and confirmed that the proposed method can synthesize two-zones by computer simulations. However, in actual system, synthesis error arises from loudspeaker directivity, frequency response. Thus, in the present study, we estimate synthesized field using spherical microphone array recording along with analysis based on spherical harmonics. We, then evaluate the sound filed actually synthesized at two listening points by comparing with the theoretical sound field. Results show that a plane wave is actually synthesized at two specified listening points.
