| (in English) | In a previous study, subjective evaluation experiments using color patch stimulus were conducted to investigate the difference of color appearance between an ordinary display and an Head Mounted Display (HMD) using. The results show that the perception of luminance and chroma of the HMD were higher compared with those of the ordinary display. However, if you actually equip the HMD and see the contents, no opportunity to see patch images. In this study, we investigated the difference of color appearance between the ordinary display and the HMD to use VR scene images that reproduced the real scene. The results using VR scene images suggested that luminance and chroma of the HMD were higher compared with those of the ordinary display. Furthermore, despite gaze ranges varied among subjects, the luminance and chroma of the HMD tended to be perceived as high as well. | |
