Investigation of individual feature extraction in formant restoration from a normalized articulatory space.

(in English) We have developed a speech compensation system that improves phonological properties without impairing the speaker’s individuality for speech disorders. In the speech compensation system, perform phonological control in the normalized articulation space which the difference in vocal tract length by a speaker is normalized using a formant frequency ratio, and restoration to the real formant space having speaker individuality is performed using the formant restoration function. In this paper, we investigate feature and separability about the normalized articulation space as phonological feature and the formant restoration function as speaker’s individuality in formant restoration by various experimentation.
