Indoor localization has become a focus of research and development recently due to
the increasing demand for the indoor localization based service. In this research, a low-
cost device-free indoor localization system by using Raspberry Pi is constructed. In our proposed system, the fingerprinting technique is employed, where the Received Signal
Strength Indicator (RSSI) of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is used as fingerprints. BLE transmits
signals on three different channels in sequence. In particular, we control and use
three different channels to enhance fingerprint's features in order to realize the system
with high accuracy. |
