| (in English) | Visualization of people and things in hospitals has recently become important topic for work efficiency improvement and medical accident prevention. Wireless technologies including Wi-Fi, BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), IMES (Indoor Messaging System, indoor GPS) and their combination are often used for indoor positioning. Since nurses are using smart devices in their business, utilization of Wi-Fi and BLE would be primary choice for positioning. However, there are possibility of affection by mutual interferences. Smart devices commercially available in Japan are still not compatible with IMES. Therefore, this paper compares indoor positioning accuracy of the geomagnetic pattern matching technique, which can be used on general smartphones, with that of Wi-Fi or BLE-based techniques in our university hospital. | |
