We review our latest experimental results presented at ECOC’18 post-deadline session. Using a >100-GHz analog multiplexer (AMUX) and an 80-GHz InP Mach-Zehnder modulator, we have demonstrated ultra-high-speed discrete multi-tone (DMT) optical transmission over 20 km. We have achieved a record-high gross bit rate of 400 Gbps (net data rate of 333 Gbps) with a single-wavelength single-polarization IMDD configuration. |
