Problem and countermeasures for group secret key agreement using RSSI information

(in English) As a physical layer security, a secret key agreement method based on radio wave propagation characteristics attracts attention. In the technique, a group secret key agreement method using the difference between two RSSI time-series measured at the relay station has been proposed. In this method, there is a risk that the key information is leaked by intercepting the difference information, but it is not sufficiently studied. Therefore, in this paper, we propose eavesdropping method and quantitatively evaluate leakage amount of key information by simulation. We also propose group secret key agreement improvement method using the exclusive OR between two binary coded RSSI time-series. Based on simulation result, it was found the key information did not leak in the improvement method.
