Development of Planer Capacitive Power Transmitter and Receiver for Cavity Resonance enabled WPT

(in English) This paper proposes a planar capacitive power transmitter and receiver for cavity resonance enabled wireless power transfer(CR WPT).
The power transmitter consists of an inverted L-shaped open stub.
The power receiver consists of two inverted L-shaped open stubs based on method of image and a differential output can be obtained by it.
The power transmitter and receiver are designed through electromagnetic field analysis. We compare the proposed power transmitter and receiver with the conventional monopole type.
From the measurement results at multiple positions, it was revealed that the proposed transmitter can make the same transmission efficiency as a conventional structure.
We measured the RF-DC transmission efficiency employing our proposed transmitter and receiver. As a results, the RF-DC transmission efficiency achieved 49 % at one of mesurement positions. Finally, we achieved the operation of the sensor module by CR WPT.
