In this paper, we propose a atep size control method for converging the step size within the stability performance range. The coefficients of the nise control filter are generally updated by applying the filtered-x algorithm to a steepest descent method type adaptive algorithm. In this case, the upper limit of the stability performance range depends on the impulse response of the secondary path, which requires manually adjusting the step size previous to starting the control. In this paper, we shows that the divergence of the coefficients can be avoided by applying the step size control to the steepest descent method and that the step size converges within the stability performance range by adjusting the required estimation error. The manual adjustment of the step size can be thereby removed and also the noise redction effect can be stabilized. We finally verify by using computer simulations that the proposed method successfully works. |
